We have a narrow band UVB apparatus (NBUVB) in our clinic. Our apparatus is 188 cm high, and irradiation for full body will be complete within 1-2 minutes.
A UVB narrow band lamp emits light energy. NBUVB comprises a subset of the UVB broadband spectrum centered at roughly 311 nm.
Narrow band UVB uses the optimal part of the UV light spectrum which slows growth of Psoriasis and palmar and planter pustulosis, reducing the itchiness of atopic dermatitis and pruritus cutaneous etc.
The patient will take irradiation with the interval from 2 days to 2 weeks. We choose optimal dose for each patient. We start from a small dose and increase the dose little by little until the maximum dosage.
